Madina began her career with Schlumberger in their Caspian Region office in 2000 and held various roles including marketing and business development for Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey and technical consultancy for E&P majors across Europe, Africa and CIS. She then moved to BG Group and Shell where she held various leadership roles in the UK, the Netherlands and Kazakhstan. In 2017-18 she also served in Brunei Shell Petroleum Board of Directors Committees and was responsible for managing of Shell’s financial and business activities in non-operated portfolio of Brunei.

Kamshat Baizhanova is a professional in human resources management with over 18 years of experience in this area, more than 10 years of which worked in the Kazakhstani Kashagan project. She is a holder of MBA from the Kazakh-British Technical University, bachelor’s degree from Atyrau State University, and has certificates of professional qualifications, including: ILM of the London School of Management, GRP, member of the Shell Open University group and many others.

Alina Abdrakhmanova is the founder and Director of Geneva Business School Kazakhstan. The creator of 2 Geneva Business School campuses in the cities of Almaty and Nur-Sultan. Currently, Alina holds the position of director of Narikbaev KazGUU Business School, she is also the co-founder and CEO of IN-VR Ltd. startup. She has international experience, was a Student Relations Manager at Geneva Business School and a Marketing Consultant at SICHH (Swiss Integrated Center for Human Health) in Geneva.
She was a candidate for the deputies of the Majilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan from ADAL party 2020-2021. Asem Zhakipova is a practicing financier with 16 years of experience in large, international companies. She currently works as a senior financial manager at Wabtec Corporation, an international company based in Kazakhstan. Prior to that, Assem worked for seven years at PwC, in the Capital Markets Department and in the Audit Department, focusing on the oil and gas and mining sectors. While working at PwC, Assem also worked in London and Hong Kong offices. From 2011 until nowadays, Assem has been a practicing lecturer on Executive MBA and MBA programs in various business schools in Kazakhstan.
Assem is currently studying for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the Geneva Business School. And in 2010, she graduated from the University of Cambridge in the UK with a Masters in Finance. Also, Assem is a UK Chartered Accountant (ACCA) since 2009 and is licensed as an Auditor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
