KAZENERGY START-UP BATTLE PROGRAM
(as part of Kazakhstan Energy Week – 2023
XV Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY)
Description: The competition is held to popularize and support the development of new technologies in the energy sector among the talented and progressive youth of the country with the participation and support of specialized technical universities (KBTU, Atyrau University of Oil and Gas).
Students, creative young professionals, and start-up projects in the field of energy are invited to participate in the KAZENERGY Start-Up Battle.
The total prize fund is 3 million tenge, divided into three categories:
- The best innovative startup in the energy sector (prize – 1 million tenge);
- The best startup in the oil and gas industry (prize – 1 million tenge);
- The best startup in the field of energy efficiency (prize – 1 million tenge).
The period for accepting applications: from August 14 to September 18, 2023.
Selection of applications by the expert commission: until September 25.
Result notification: by September 30
Selection of 10 best projects in three nominations: until October 1
Date of the final: October 6, 2023, 09:00-11:00
Venue of the final: EXPO Congress Center, Astana
