ANNA BJORNERMARK

Anna Bjornermark is the Associate Director for Access to Services and Gender Mainstreaming in the Gender and Economic Inclusion Team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Anna has extensive experience of working with international financial institutions on international economic and financial issues, including gender equality. Before joining the Gender and Economic Inclusion Team, Anna represented one of EBRD’s shareholders on the Board of EBRD. In that role, Anna provided guidance on strategic directions, including the Bank’s work on gender and economic inclusion, and worked on Swedish donor cooperation via EBRD.

Before joining EBRD, Anna worked on international cooperation in the Swedish Ministry of Finance. This included Sweden’s relationship with international financial institutions and EU-cooperation on international economic topics.
