During the meeting, the parties discussed the preparation for the World Energy Week 2021 and the XIV KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum, to be held on October 4-8 in Nur-Sultan, as well as the areas of cooperation between the National Committees under the preparation to the World Energy Congress in St. Petersburg in 2022.
The representative of the Russian National Committee of the WEC praised the preparatory work of the Kazakh side and declared full support for the forthcoming events of the World Energy Week 2021 and the XIV KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum.
Specifically, the parties addressed the matter, on the platform of the Energy Week, of the joint holding with the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (October 5-8 this year) of a Teleconference on the development of the gas industry.
The Russian colleague also marked the National Energy Report 2021 which will be presented on the platform of the Forum. The analytical review of the energy industry is in high demand both by Kazakh specialists and foreign experts.
The parties also spoke about the participation of the Kazakh side in the 25th World Energy Congress in 2022 in St. Petersburg.
