Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Akmadi Sarbassov born on October 4, 1977, in the West Kazakhstan region, Chingirlau district.

In 1999, he graduated from the al-Farabi Kazakh National University majoring in Political Science, in 2001 – from the Eurasian Humanities Institute majoring in Law, in 2013 – from the Central Kazakhstan Academy majoring in Management.

He was trained at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO), Turin, Italy (2011), Graduate School of Public Policy of Nazarbayev University and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (Singapore) (2013).

From 1999 to 2005, he worked in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a specialist, leading specialist, chief specialist, head of the Division of Control, Analysis of Regulations of the Department of Registration of Regulations of Central and Local State Authorities.

Since 2005, he worked in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan as Deputy Director of the Department of Employment and State Control over Compliance with Labor Legislation, Director of the Legal Services Department, Department of Labor and Social Partnership, Chairman of the Committee on Migration.

From August 2013 to April 2019, he worked as Chairman of the Committee on Control and Social Protection – Chief State Inspector of Labor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 30, 2019, he was appointed Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
