Maratbek T. Gabdullin was born on January 27, 1980, in the Abai village of Kaskelen district, Almaty region. In 1997 he graduated from the N.G. Chernyshevsky secondary school and in the same year entered the bachelor’s degree in physics at the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University. In 2001, having successfully completed his bachelor’s degree, Maratbek T. Gabdullin entered master program of the same University. After graduating with honors from master’s degree under the academic supervision of Professor K.N. Dzhumagulov, for three years – 2003 to 2005 – he studied in graduate school at the Department of Optics and Plasma Physics of the Faculty of Physics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In April 2007, under the academic supervision of Professor Tlekkabul S. Ramazanov, he defended his Ph.D. thesis in the specialty 01.04.08 – Plasma Physics, and in June 2009 Maratbek T. Gabdullin successfully completed PhD-doctorate with the highest GPA and brilliantly defended thesis on the topic “Thermodynamic Properties of non-Ideal Plasma”.
Maratbek T. Gabdullin began his career in 2001 as an engineer at the Research Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics (RIETF) and reached the level of deputy director of RIETF.
From 2005 to 2006, combining scientific and educational activities he was approved for the position of a leading project specialist at the Research Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics at al-Farabi KazNU. In the period of 2006–2010, Maratbek T. Gabdullin was the Deputy Director of the al-Farabi KazNU RIETF. In 2010, he was appointed as a Director of the National Nanotechnological Laboratory at al-Farabi KazNU, where he worked until mid-September 2017.
Maratbek T. Gabdullin took part in many international congresses, symposia, conferences, and seminars. He is also the author of many scientific papers, articles and patents. In 2017, he received an award in the category “Author of a highly cited Kazakh publication, prepared without the participation of foreign co-authors.” He has extensive experience in research and development in the field of theoretical physics, nuclear physics, plasma physics and computer physics, thermal physics, standardization, certification, nonlinear physics and condensed matter physics, astrophysics.
Since September 2017, Maratbek T. Gabdullin has been appointed Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation and since April 2021 he has been appointed Acting Rector (Chairman of the University Board) of KBTU.

She has the diplomatic rank of First Secretary of the First Class.

Sayasat Nurbek was born in May 18, 1981, Semey, West-Kazakhstan.
He graduated from Marshalltown College (USA) with a degree in Political Science, Eurasian National University named after L.M. Gumilyov, bachelor in International Law, University of Rome La Sapienza (Italy), Master’s degree in Geopolitics, and Kokshe Academy, Bachelor in Psychology.
He took internships and refresher courses in the USA, Singapore, Belgium, Japan, and Holland.
In 2000-2001, Sayasat Nurbek worked as an Assistant to Congressman Mark Smith (USA), in the Government of Iowa (USA). In 2002-2004, he actively participated in the implementation of the youth policy of Kazakhstan. In 2006-2009, worked in the field of investment projects at JSC Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund, held the positions of Head of the HR Policy Sector of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Science of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Department, Executive Director for HR Policy and Personnel Management of JSC Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund. In 2009, he was appointed as Director of the National School of Public Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From November 2010 to September 2013 he held the position of President of JSC “Center for International Programs” of the Ministry of Education and Science. In 2013-2015, Sayasat worked as Director of the Institute for Public Policy of the NurOtan Party. In 2015-2016, he was the Acting Head of the Internal Policy Department of Almaty Akimat. Since July 2016, he worked as Managing Director, Member of the Board of the Astana International Financial Center. Today he is the General Director of BTS Education, the head of the Atlas of new professions project in Kazakhstan, the Goodwill Ambassador of National Geographic Kazakhstan, and a member of the National Council of Public Trust.
He was awarded the state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the medal “For Labor Distinction” (Ерен еңбегі үшiн), the medal “20th Anniversary of the Capital of Kazakhstan”, the Medal for the 20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Medal for the 15th Anniversary of the Faculty of Law – Eurasian National University named after L.N. I was born in Kzyl-Orda in 1960, I graduated from high school in Balkhash with a gold medal, then – the Moscow Chemical Technology Institute named after D. I. Mendeleev.
Currently, I am the director of the VISTA Training Center LLP.
I started my career in 1984 at the Pavlodar Chemical Plant as a design engineer. From 1985 to 1998, I worked at the Pavlodar Tractor Plant JSC as a technological engineer of the 1st category, then as the head of the chemical and technological laboratory, where I was engaged in research and development of petroleum products.
In 2002, I moved to the field of education as a senior lecturer of S. Toraighyrov PSU. Then I was appointed Deputy Dean for Scientific Work and International Relations of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Subsequently, I was the head of the Department of Postgraduate Education.
In 2008, I headed the Personnel Evaluation and Development Department of Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant JSC, and then – the training center. In 2018, the training center was separated into an independent legal entity.
I take part in the socio-political activities of the region. I am the Chairman of the Board of the NGO “Association of Koreans of Pavlodar region” Somang”.
