SURI RAJAGOPAL

Suri Rajagopal has over three decades of experience in HR leadership roles across multiple industries. He is currently on secondment from Royal Dutch Shell to Karachaganak Petroleum Operating BV as HR Controller, based in Aksai, since July 2017. As part of KPO’s Leadership team, he is also responsible for Health, Security & General Services functions.

Suri joined Shell in 2011 as HR VP –  India, responsible for the people strategy for all Shell businesses in India. As a key talent hub, India became the third  major Technology Research Centre for Shell. Suri relocated to Shell’s HQ in The Netherlands in 2015 as  HR VP, Change & Engage to lead a key transformation project globally.

Prior to Shell, Suri spent 7 years at BG Group where he was based in the UK and India as VP HR BG Asia. Earlier leadership roles included that of Director HR at Carrier Aircon, United Technologies  and the hospitality sector in India.

Suri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Post Graduate degree in HR from leading Indian universities.
