GULSHARA ABDYKALIKOVA

Gulshara Abdykalikova is a Kazakhstani state activist, former Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population and 10th Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Born in the Kyzylorda region, Republic of Kazakhstan. She graduated from the Dzhambul Technological Institute of Light and Food Industries, majoring in economics, candidate of economic sciences.
After graduating from the institute in 1987-1994, she worked as a senior inspector, head of a department of the Kyzylorda regional department of social protection of population.
In 1994-1995, he was a consultant to the Committee of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan on social protection of population.
In 1995-2003, she worked in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the head of department, deputy head of department, head of pension management, deputy director of the Department of social security, director of the department of social security and social assistance, director of the department of pension provision and income regulation population.
From March 2003 to December 2005 – Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From December 2005 to October 2006 – Chairman of the Board of JSC “Life Insurance Company” State Annuity Company “.
From October 2006 to October 2007 – Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From October 2007 to January 2008 – Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
From January 2008 to March 2009 – Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the President.
From March 2009 to September 2012 – Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since September 2012 – Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since November 2013 – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On November 11, 2014, she was appointed State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan by decree of the Head of State.
February 25 – August 16, 2019 – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since August 16, 2019 – Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
On September 4, 2019, she was elected Chairman of the House Committee on Social and Cultural Development of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
