ANUAR ZHAKSYBEKOV

Anuar Zhaksybekov born on the 18^th of July, 1965, in Eskene village of Makat region of Atyrau oblast of the Republic of Kazkahstan. In 1993, graduated from the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University (Moscow) in the specialty of geology and exploration of oil and gas fields, granted the qualification of Engineer Geologist.

After graduating from Baichunas secondary school #3 in 1982, started his labor activity as oil and gas operator in Baichunas field of OGPO “Dossorneft” of “Kazakhoil-Emba” JSC. After military service (1983-1985) in Krasnoznamenskyi Marine North Fleet has continued his activity as oil and gas operator in Karsak field. After graduating from the university, worked as geologist in Atyrau drilling operaitons enterprise, as Chief Geologist, oil recovery and workover department deputy manager in Makat region of “Kazakhoil-Emba” JSC.

In 1999, after successful development and operation of Moldabek Vostochnyi of OGPC “Kainarmunaygas”, was appointed as Chief Geologist in OGPC “Makatneft” of “Kazakhoil-Emba” JSC.

In 2000 was invited to NC “Kazakhoil” JSC for the position of Chief engineer of Production management department. He has taken care of geology and drilling issues of joint ventures with partial participation of NC “Kazakhoil” JSC located in Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts.

From 2002 to 2009 – manager, geology and development department deputy director, geology and geophysical department director of NC “KazMunayGas” JSC.

Since 20^th of December, 2009, appointed as geological exploration manager representing NC “KazMunayGas” JSC in founded “N-operating” LLP.

Since 04 February, 2013, by the decision of the NC “KazMunayGas” JSC board of directors, appointed as Geology and exploration Deputy General Director of “E&P KazMunayGas” JSC.

On the 18^th of October, 2013, by the decision of the NC “KazMunayGas” JSC board of directors, appointed as Deputy General Director in perspective projects of FCKOO “Kashagan B.V.”. In order to improve and concentration of production issues, the restructuration of Company managing staff occurred, and since December 2013, A.Y. Zhaksybekov is appointed to the position of Deputy General Director in perspective projects and operational activity, member of the advisory technical committee of the North-Caspian Project shareholders.

Since September, 2015, appointed to the position of deputy general director in new projects and technologies of “Embamunaygas” JSC.

Since April 2017 until now is the Chairman of the Management Board of “Embamunaygas” JSC.
