TIMUR TAZABEKOV

Mr. Tazabekov holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University and has over 13 years of experience in the field of IT.
He currently holds the position of Director of IT Group in KMG Rompetrol. He has an extensive experience in working with the International Oil and Gas Company, supervising IT operations and providing solutions for sophisticated Infrastructure and Application Landscape (Refining, Retail, Trading, Supply Chain and Corporate Services).
Mr. Tazabekov heads the IT Department consisting of 52 employees in 4 countries. He is also experienced in optimization of the IT management model, cost of implementation (CAPEX) and operational expenditure by consolidating solutions and finding optimal approaches to maximize efficiency and minimize resource costs (both financial and human).
He has participated as a speaker at industry conferences and has several publications in mass media.
