Since 1992 – entrepreneur, Chairman of the Board of "Czech Eastern" JSC whose activities are aimed at renewing and deepening economic cooperation with the CIS countries.
Since 2008 – Chairman of the Board of Consortium "CZET - Czech Energy Conservation Technologies", which unites more than 30 major Czech companies that manufacturers, designers and suppliers of energy technologies for large, medium and small power facilities.
Mr. Zbytek is an initiator and coordinator of a number of energy projects implemented by Czech companies in Russia, Moldova, Belarus and other CIS countries.
He is an author of a comprehensive program for adoption of energy saving technologies in large, medium and small power facilities based on advanced Czech and European technologies.
At Mr. Zbytek’s initiative, the Czech-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission and the Czech-Kazakh task force on energy cooperation have resumed their active work. Mr. Zbytek is a lead organizer of the Czech-Kazakhstan energy cooperation.
At present – Mr. Zbytek is one of the most prominent Czech businessmen and public facilitators for the development of Czech-Kazakh relations.
