The IX Youth Forum will be held on September 7-8, 2017 within the XI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum.

“KAZENERGY” Youth Forum is:

  • The union of more than three hundred young like-minded people who will become the energy field leaders in the future;
  • A unique opportunity for young specialists to meet with the representatives of state authorities, youth organizations of different countries and heads of the largest international energy companies;
  •  The possibility to discuss the issues actual for young people and to get interesting information.

The main theme of the forum is “Learning for Life”.

The Forum is aimed at support of the culture of continuous learning among young people and provision of useful tools and recommendations on self-education, onsite training and personal growth.

The topic of the forum “Learning for life” was selected because of the growing need and importance of lifelong learning in the VUCA world realities (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity).

 Lifelong learning is important for job placement, career growth, and, by the number of scientists, for health and a full-fledged social life. According to data, by 2025 due to technological innovations, 50% of jobs that exist today will become unnecessary. Even if this figure is exaggerated, it is still clear that the economic situation in our time is changing much faster than in the past. And such trends as artificial intelligence, robotics, outsourcing mean constant shifts in the nature of work. In such conditions, maintaining competitiveness requires continuous training and personal growth.

The program of the IX Youth Forum will include the following activities:

  • “Student Energy Challenge” Intellectual team contest;
  • Talk Show with young Kazakh generation, leading startups;
  • Workshop “Increase of personal efficiency = balance and harmony (to be confirmed)”;
  • Mentoring by the iconic figures of oil and gas field;
  •  “BRAIN RING” Intellectual Tournament.
