On behalf of Tengizchevroil (TCO), welcome to World Energy Week and the XIV KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum.
TCO is excited to participate in this year’s events, which coincide with an incredible milestone in the history of Kazakhstan – the 30th anniversary of independence. In addition, for the first time, the World Energy Council’s World Energy Week is being held in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is a great honor and tribute to the importance of Kazakhstan’s energy sector to the global economy.
The 2021 World Energy Week and KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum’s focus on the topic of Energy for Better Lives is particularly relevant in today’s operating environment. Oil and gas companies around the world are being called on to meet the world’s growing needs for safe and reliable hydrocarbon resources while taking actions to reduce carbon intensity in operations.
At TCO, we are excited about the progress being made across our operations to meet these dual challenges and build the future of the industry together. For over 28 years, TCO has been creating value for the country by operating responsibly and relentlessly focusing on safe and reliable operations. We look forward to further delivering on our commitments to the Republic of Kazakhstan and our four shareholders to provide safe, reliable and every cleaner supplies of energy.
TCO has been a long-term partner of the KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum, which is a leading platform for discussing important issues impacting the energy industry in the Caspian and Central Asia regions. The forum promotes valuable conversation on the energy future and provides a unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders on the latest developments in the industry and share ideas with the world’s leading energy experts.
We encourage you to actively participate in the forum and learn more about important developments in our industry. We wish the organizers and participants great success in hosting this year’s events.
